Father God, we fast and pray for the restoration of marriages and families. May each husband love his wife as he loves himself and each wife respect her husband. We ask that you will strengthen husbands and wives so that they will be able to stand against the schemes of the enemy to destroy the unions of marriage you have established.

This prayer came right on time. Just yesterday, my husband was walking around trying to work my nerves. But I wasn't going to allow that to happen. I know he really didn't want to do it but because of his job and the way that has him constantly going, his mind is always in a different place.
In his line of profession, on a daily basis he faces death and crime. He is also talked about, cussed out, and sometimes he has to fight to defend himself. And no matter how hard he tries, he still brings that home and he hasn't learned how to deal with the daily things from his job yet.
So my prayer is that I have patience to handle his mood swings and that God works it out for him to find a way to deal with the stresses of his job.
